Residence permit in Greece for financially independent foreigners is suitable for third-country nationals who want to reside in Greece and have sufficient funds to cover their living expenses without having to work in Greece. A residence permit is also issued to family members of the main applicant.

A residence permit is issued for 2 years and then renewed every 3 years if the conditions for obtaining it are still met.

There are two ways to get a resident visa – Financially Independent Person (FIP) Visa:

• Apply on a passive source of income (i.e. not based on wages).
The minimum monthly passive income must be from 2,000 € for the main applicant + 20% for the second spouse + 15% for each child.

• Apply on the basis of personal savings.
It is necessary to have available savings in the amount of 48,000 euros for the main applicant + 20% for the second spouse + 15% for each child.

A residence permit in Greece for investment can be obtained by third-country nationals and their family members who have invested in Greek companies, bank deposits, government bonds or bought real estate in Greece.

Business immigration to Greece

 

Foreign citizens have the opportunity to enter Greece for business activities under the following conditions:
– Availability of sufficient funds to operate and live in Greece.
– Business activities contribute to the development of the national economy.
– Experience or qualifications in the same field.
– A credible business plan has been submitted for approval.
– An application for a visa to conduct business in Greece must be submitted to the Greek Consulate.

The submitted package of documents goes to the immigration office of the district where the applicant plans to conduct business.

To qualify for the digital nomad program, you must work remotely for a company or clients located outside of Greece.
