Residence permit Visitor

This residence permit is granted to foreigners who will confirm financial independence and a stable source of income (from 19,200 euros per year per applicant), which allows them to live in France without having to work there.

Also, a foreigner must have a place of residence in France (this can be a long-term lease of real estate or a purchase for any amount), health insurance, a good reputation (no criminal record, deportation and other immigration violations).

A residence permit is issued for a period of 1 year, with the right to extend, and after 5 years, you can apply for permanent residence and then for French citizenship.

Residence permit - Passport talent

The Passport-talent category is for foreigners who wish to make a significant contribution to the French economy, culture, science or sport.

The Passport-talent category is intended for applicants: qualified and highly qualified employees; business founders, entrepreneurs; investors; founders or employees of innovative startups; artists, artists; scientific staff.

An applicant for the Passport-talent category receives a residence permit immediately for 4 years with the possibility of extension. After 5 years, you can obtain permanent residence in France (permanent residence) and after 10 years, apply for French citizenship.

Intra Company Transferee

French legislation provides for a simplified procedure for obtaining a residence permit under the Intra Company Transferee program – a corporate transfer.

Intra Company Transfers (ICT) – issued upon transfer from the parent company to its own branch in France for the management and key employees.

The employee must have worked for the company abroad for at least 12 months. This period may vary depending on the situation in the company, for example: how long the parent company has been operating, how successful the business is, etc.

Spouse(s) and minor children can also receive a residence permit. This residence permit allows residence and any professional activity in France during the period of validity of the residence permit held by the main applicant (foreign employee).
